Star Fostering is a ‘family owned’ Independent Fostering Agency set up by Robert and Sharon North who have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren between them. Sharon is the Registered Manager. She has worked in fostering and adoption services for over 17 years.

Our Vision

Children and Young People that are unable to live with their own birth families are provided with a family life that enables them to have fun, learn and develop into adults that have the potential to create a good life for themselves and the ability to build their own stable families.

Our Mission

Working in partnership with our Foster Carers and the child’s social worker, we aim to ensure that any child placed within our agency is able to enjoy their childhood and reach their full potential.
